High Flying 7-30-2010
The biggest Air show in the country! People come from miles around, its quite a sight to see. Hobbyist and enthusiasts come to show off their aircraft and watch the air shows being put on. With all the tight tolerances needed to keep their aircraft in top performance condition you need to have a clean environment to store the planes in. Why not use the best scrubber to keep the hangers clean, and we were there to showcase our products.
Flying High 6-4-2010
In this picture we are cleaning the steel beds where they make concrete castings of walls and ceilings. The Mini-Mag can clean the castings much quicker than by hand to get them ready set up for another piece for increased productivity.
AIST Show 5-12-2010
Factory Cat equipment on display at the 2010 AIST show. This year the show was held in Pittsburgh and Factory Cat was introduced to many new customers, and it’s more evidence that the economy is rebuilding.

Food Logistics Show in Britain 3-18-2010

Part Upgrade 3-10-2010
New hour and battery meter for the 34 sweeper, the spot was moved to be able to be seen without opening the hood. The cylindrical pulleys are now plated to help preserve their appearance and increase belt life.

Rental Show 3-2-2010
Factory Cat equipment being shown at the 2010 Rental Show in Orlando, FL. With many of the nations’ largest Rental Companies in attendance, it was an excellent opportunity to introduce the rugged Factory Cat equipment to folks who require the toughest equipment available. The experienced companies immediately recognized the difference between Factory Cat designs and the “commercial” equipment from the competition.
World of Concrete Show 2-1-2010
Factory Cat on display at the 2010 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas, NV. The Magnums’ HD construction and full access recovery tank were big hits with the contractors. Factory Cat’s Magnum can also be equipped with a Concrete Polishing Package with special motors, a stainless steel deck, and exclusive diamond pad drivers. Weather for the event was perfect, and over 100 new customers were found.
Factory Cat In England part II January 2010
Building on the beachhead initiated in June 09, Factory Cat has established additional dealers to sell and service our equipment in additional regions of the country. Especially important timing, as alternative brands are taking almost all the business direct, circumventing local dealers. Stories of manufacturer reps supporting a demonstration one day, only to back door the dealer 24 hours later have become the norm. Factory Cat’s loyalty to dealers who stock and sell the equipment has maintained margins at unmatched levels.

As a result of new friendships and distribution in England, we are proud to announce a new partnership in Ireland with ROTA Industries www.rota.ie. They’ve been supplying sweeping equipment to the Irish market for 16 years, including large outside sweepers and even mobile wheel wash systems. The addition of the Factory Cat line matches up an “Industrial” scrubber and sweeper line for indoor applications. Sean O’Riordan’s (ROTA Director) and passion for all things Irish and Heavy Duty should make us a strong force.

This is a new platform from the frame up, with the batteries low and centered it offers improved stability on turns. The TR includes many new features, while building on the "HD" construction and simplicity that helped Model 48s gain market share. We’ve worked to retain the popular features while incorporating proven ideas from other models.

Factory Cat is expanding to new regions and new territories. Sean met up with our dealer Al-Bariq Cleaning Equipment LLC in Dubai, to discuss new projects, sweeper and scrubber upgrades, and new marketing strategies. It was a fun trip and much was learned on from both sides.
Factory Cat sweepers and floor scrubbers are built by the R.P.S. Corporation incorporated in Wisconsin since 1986. Factory Cat manufactures battery floor scrubbers, battery floor sweepers and battery sweeper / scrubber combination floor machines for the industrial sector. Its principals have been in the industrial floor cleaning machine business since 1980.
The battery powered floor scrubber and floor sweeper models we manufacture fit a niche in the industrial cleaning equipment industry that we pretty much invented: battery powered, high-performance, compact floor sweepers and floor scrubbers for industry. Our battery floor sweepers and battery floor scrubbers continue to be exceptionally well received, and are the reason we can claim to be the fastest growing industrial floor equipment manufacturer in this business.
At present, Factory Cat manufactures some 40 models, including walk-behind sweeper and scrubber models and rider sweeper and rider scrubber models. three ranges each of walk-behind and rider scrubbers, and combination units that both sweep and scrub simultaneously. Historically, each of our models has come to enjoy a leadership position in most of the markets we serve.
Factory Cat battery sweepers and automatic scrubbers are all manufactured in Wisconsin, USA. They are sold through some 300 dealer locations in 23 countries.
This walk behind, battery sweeper has been an industry leader for more than a decade. Its sweeping prowess and durability has been proven in many of the worlds’ most challenging floor sweeping environments. You’ll find these sweepers cleaning in mines, metal fabrication facilities, bulk powder packaging, wood mills, and more. The Model 34 sweepers' all steel construction, direct throw sweeping and "baghouse" filter differentiate it from all the plastic (commercial) sweepers on the market.
A compact rider sweeper, but with the performance of sweepers twice its size. The TR is a maneuverable sweeper, with good visibility and priced below other sweepers in the category. Similar to our Model 34 sweeper, this battery sweeper is all steel construction and built to perform in dusty applications. The TR rider sweeper can clean 60,000 square feet / hour, and for over 7 hours on a single charge. The onboard charger is fully automatic and allows customers to recharge the sweeper at any outlet. The TR sweeper is able to sweep up sand, fine powders, leaves, rocks, nails and all into a simple to empty hopper. Both the Model 34 sweeper and this TR rider sweeper are built with a filter that typically lasts the life of the machine, saving customers potentially thousands of parts $$ in the future.
The Factory Cat MiniMag industrial scrubber blends a compact floor scrubber with the toughness that is not found on other brands of battery scrubbers. With 17 gallon tanks and scrub paths from 17" up to 26", the MiniMag can be configured to meet your scrubbing needs. Both disk and cylindrical scrubbing heads are available on the MiniMag Scrubbers, allowing customers to sweep and scrub in a single pass. Factory Cat uses the same HD scrub motors from the larger Magnum scrubber, on this smaller MiniMag auto scrubber. The Factory Cat walk behind scrubber is able to scrub into congested areas and is ideal for Car Dealerships, congested machine shops, food preparation areas and anyone looking for high performance scrubbing in a compact and affordable package.
Factory Cat’s larger Magnum scrubber combines 30 gallon tanks and seven different scrub decks. Available with 24" on the small end up to 34" on the large end, they can be equipped with the popular sweeper/scrubber combination, also known as a scrubber/sweeper. This cylindrical head can conveniently sweep and scrub in a single pass, saving customers the grief of clogged squeegee hoses and reducing the need to pre-sweep. The Magnum scrubber, and all Factory Cat scrubbers, have tanks that tip back for easy access to all service items. Accommodating the natural scheduled maintenance on the scrubbers and sweeper/scrubber combos, encourages long life and customer satisfaction.
For customers who are not willing to accept any compromises with their scrubbers or sweeper/scrubbers. The GTX rider scrubber is effectively smaller than most walk behind scrubbers. While smaller in footprint, the GTX battery scrubber packs in 35 gallon tanks, 6+ hours of run time and scrub paths from 24" to 34". Like all Factory Cat scrubbers, the GTX can be built with the labor saving cylindrical head, for sweeping and scrubbing in a single path. The optional side brooms permit sweeping under racking, along the wall.
Our largest rider scrubber, the XR battery scrubber is designed with 68 gallon tanks, and scrub paths from 34" up to a massive 46". The efficient design allows our scrubber to U-turn in 7’ aisles and be optioned up with 85 gallon stainless tanks and dual side brooms for sweeping up to the edge. The XR rider scrubber, like the smaller GTX scrubber, is built with operator comfort in mind. It offers superior scrubbing performance and like all Factory Cat scrubbers, is built with stainless fasteners, powder coated steel, and all maintenance components are placed for easy access. XR scrubbers are popular with food distribution facilities, companies in the Tech sector, and any industrial or fabrication plants. The scrubber’s large tanks and battery set allow customers to scrub up to 250,000 sq. ft on a single charge. Onboard soap, overhead guards, non-marking tires and remote floor cleaning tools are just a few of the options available.
